 Hey beauties!

This is an older FOTD that has a subtle sexy 60's vibe with a slightly defined but more blended crease, and a small cat eye that extends all the way into the inner eye corner, creating a sexier feline shape for those ladies who have rounder eyes. This is a very cool toned look so you can use warmer crease colours if you would prefer, but I've also kept the cheeks & lips cool toned as well. I really adore this look & I hope you all like it!

Face: Unsure of the foundation/ concealer combination as it is a bit heavier then what I have been wearing lately, but I think I used Nyx Pinky Blush, this was before I had Laguna so bronzer would have been a Christian Dior sample I had at the time & Nude by Nature Eye Definer to contour with Mac Lightscapade as a highlight.
Eyes: UD Naked 2 Palette: Foxy & Bootycall Applied together all over the lid with Bootycall as a highlight on the browbone & inner corner
Tease Blended into the crease with a fluffy brush so there are no harsh lines
Snakebite blended just above Tease & also on the lower lash line.
Blackout Added definition in the crease by using a bullet brush and then blended out again with Tease
UD liner in 'Whiskey' to line the waterline & lower lash line.
Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner starting from the middle of the lash line to draw outwards and a slight wing to meet the crease colour, and then going right into the inner corner, accentuating it by going onto the lower lashline slightly.

A few weekends ago we went to a masquerade ball. Of course I wanted to do big, dramatic makeup for it lol. It was a really good night... when they started playing good music lol. The dress code was meant to be strict but there were quite a few people in short club dresses and people without masks... which is not what a masquerade ball is about! lol. Anyway, apart from that, it was reallly hot in the ball area and because my mask was tucked into my hair it was hard to take it off without my eyes smudging lol.

To get the sharp line in the crease firstly I made a rough line with Black Bean and a small eyeliner brush and then I went over it with Noir & an angled eyeliner brush for further definition. I really like how it turned out :)

A few things I'd like to point out:
Eyelashes: One went on weirdly so I had to pull it off and put it back on, removing some of the eyeliner. I  fixed it after the pics.
Also the eyes aren't completely even, but I didn't want to ruin the whole thing to fix that lol. And I wasn't too keen on the lip colour for some reason IDK why... but I didn't reapply anyway lol.

Go Charlotte, It's your birthday! Yes, I finally turned the big 21. (that's what I said about my 18th, feels like yesterday but its already flown by).
I had some friends around for drinks on Saturday night  and on the night of my birthday (Tuesday) we went out for dinner with the family. I suppose nothing else has changed except now I am actually classed as an adult (How scary!! :P) since I've been able to legally drink & go to clubs since I was 18. But now I can go to the US and do it all as well!
To the makeup.... even though the drinks was pretty casual I wanted to go all glam with the makeup. As you do ;). I thought I would stuff it up but I didn't, woohoo!

My close up pictures were taken before redoing my eyebrows & foundation.
After applying primer, start with a thin brush & black cream/gel eyeliner, drawing the top line just above the crease following the crease curve, and then wing it out & join it to the lashline. Fill in all except the inner corner with the black. Also apply to the lower lashline & waterline.
If you need to clean up the line, use a wet cotton bud to go along the top, and clean up with concealer after.
Using your fave black eyeshadow, apply wherever the base is.
With a glitter liquid eyeliner, apply to the center of the eyelids. Apply a shimmery gray over the top if you wish but make sure the glitter still shines through.
Optional: take some black and make a wing out from the lower lashline parallel to the wing, and inbetween that add some silver glitter swirls.
Apply an intense white highlighter to the inner corner of the eyes.
Apply eyelashes and you're done!

Woohoo I can finally honestly say I was happy with how this look turned out! I would definitely do this look again for clubbing or maybe even new years, I would probably add some glitter & it would be good to go. Also I think it this goes with any outfit.

So I was inspired by this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fq-lEu73GI&feature=channel_video_title, & I thought it would be harder to get my eyes even but I got it fairly quickly. It doesn't matter if it is not perfect anyway because as they say "eye's are sisters not twins."




Eyes:
Lid: Stila Kitten. Also a tiny bit on the middle of the lower lash line (lll)
The lightest colour from Barbie <3 Stila from brow bone to crease (help with blending).
Crease: Nyx JEP Black Bean with an angled eyeliner brush and on the lll.
Black from 28 palette blended with a pencil brush over top of Black Bean.
A little bit of the black from the same Stila palette on the lll.
Maybelline Eye Allure Eyeliner.
CG Lash Blast Fusion
Japanese Eyelashes.

Cheeks: I think a tiny bit of E.L.F Fuschia Fusion
Lips: Maybelline Color sensational l/s in Party Pink on the outside with Mac Hue on the inside.
At first I was going to leave the lower lash line alone but it didn't look complete, so I started with one eye & it didn't look that good until I defined my lower eyelashes.This look is also a must for falsies, I got asked if it was just mascara or was I wearing falsies hahah. At least they are not noticeable :P

 Every now & then I check my stats & the one post that is always up the top is this Brigitte Bardot inspired makeup look I did a while back, although I cringe now but I feel that I have improved a lot, especially with my skin. :).

Day

My hair looking lush, with a bit of help.

On the eyes I used Nyx chrome white pearl e/s with a bit of Stila Kitten all over the lid with Satin Taupe in the crease for definition & blended out with a lighter brown.
Eyeliner is Maybelline Eye studio liquid e/l (I think thats the name), however I dun goofed it up :(
Cheeks are looking like NYX pinky blush & lips are a mixture of Revlon Nude Attitude & CG lip perfection in kiss (love this combo! Revlon NA helps take out some of the frostiness of kiss)

Only just a few more pageview's for all time. haha

Night
Had a party to go to & I had the worst time getting ready (burnt cheek while doing my hair, lots of frustration) but after all that trouble we didn't even stay for long. Ohwells.

Got my bitch face on. Whoops! I did my hair in a rush so it looks like crap.

So I prettymuch intensified the eyeliner with some of Fyrinnaes Immortal E/S, a gorgeous black glitter which reflects different colours. Its a bit hard to tell with these pics though. I used NYX black bean JEP on the lower lash line, & I used tape this time to get a sharper edge since I brought it out more & obviously used falsies. I used the same ones as I did with my first BB look (sadly, this was their last look with them, they died after I tried to look after them :( )
On my cheeks looks like NYX peach & Lips are NYX soft matte lip cream in Tokyo. Which made my lips look painfully dry in this look.

SO I know it is pretty much exactly the same as my first look but its a look I won't get sick of coz I think its super sexy.
