$#B Becca Sunlit Bronzers vs Swatches and Review **

$#B Becca Sunlit Bronzers vs Swatches and Review **

Oh Becca - always blowing me out of the water! :) I already love their blushes and highlighters so much... so it wasn't a surprise that I'm obsessed with their bronzers as well!

According to the Becca website, their new Sunlit Bronzers are

Inspired by sun-drenched destinations, Sunlit Bronzer is like a day at the beach without ever having to step foot in the sand.

It comes in five gorgeous shades that fit different skin tones.

From lightest to darkest they have:
Bali Sands: soft golden-beige to give warmth to fair skin tones
Capri Coast: warm golden-brown for light to medium skin tones
Bronzed Bondi: Medium amber for medium skin tones
Ipanema Sun: Medium Auburn brown for medium to dark skin tones
Maui Nights: Ultra rich Sienna Kissed bronze for deep skin tones

Here are swatches of each shade:
In direct sunlight - top to bottom: bali sands, capri coast, bronzed bondi, ipanema sun, maui nights

Outdoor, in shade - top to bottom: bali sands, capri coast, bronzed bondi, ipanema sun, maui nights

Color: I love these because they all kind of run in the golden family (except Maui Nights looks a bit more reddish). However I do think they really would fit most ranges of skin tones. I work best with Capri Coast, but could also use Bronzed Bondi if I wanted a more done up look. Because I have the whole range, I decided to play with some of the deeper shades... and although Maui Nights is very red - I used it very lightly on my face as a bronzer-blush and it was GORGEOUS! :)

Texture: Like most other Becca products, these bronzers are extremely milled and apply beautifully. They are buildable since first application was a bit more sheer. They also have slight shimmer but it isn't so noticeable until you are in the sunlight - when you look so golden! (I love it!)

Longevity: with a primer and foundation, it lasts nearly all day. By the end of the night, even though it has worn off a bit, the color is still there.

Overall: I'm really loving this. Although its not incredibly unique, I love how becca products are very consistently great for me - they are long lasting, finely milled, don't irritate my skin and have the perfect amount of shimmer for a 'sunlit glow' :)

These are available for $38 each at ulta, beccacosmetics.com and sephora.com

((( The Best Scrub Ever ?!? M-61 Vitablast C Scrub and Mask Review #$

((( The Best Scrub Ever ?!? M-61 Vitablast C Scrub and Mask Review #$
I've had this product for a week now and I'm so incredibly impressed after two uses that I have to share this with you right away!!!

After going to visit the amazing offices at Alison Brod Marketing and Communication, they sent me home with a couple of M-61 products. I personally have never heard of this brand - so I was interested in trying it. This brand was created by Bluemercury Co-Founder and CEO Marla Malcolm Beck. If you don't know Bluemercury, it's an awesome beauty store and spa with great highend brands.

Here's what the website says about M-61

M-61 Powerful Skincare combines dermatologist-loved ingredients with power-packed naturals and is 100% free from harmful parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Marla took Bluemercury’s 13 years of experience performing over one million treatments and blended it with input from more than 300 Bluemercury makeup artists and estheticians. The result is a technical skincare line that provides maximum results with minimal time.

So this product is a 1-minute face exfoliant mask. It has vitamin C, papaya, gallic acid and natural amber powder to soften the skin, clear off dead skin and promote a bright complexion. It also has add products like natural passionflower to add some soothing and calming benefits!

When I first tried this product, I was thinking "eh, it'll be like any other scrub" --however I was so incredibly impressed, I've never felt a product like this before!

During the process: It was definitely a scrub, however the scrubbies were so incredibly fine that it felt as if it was really cleaning off my skin. It gave a slight tingle, which made my skin feel really refreshed. I tried my best to get you a very close up photo of how tiny the scrubbulars are - so hopefully you can see just how fine the scrubs are!

After the process: After I washed it, it felt amazingly smooth and soft. My skin definitely looked more radiant and bright. Usually more abrasive scrubs cause my skin to redden with blochiness, but my skin was not blochy at all. I was able to then use my regular skincare regimen and it definitely felt like the products were going deep in my skin since it did end up looking more plump than usual!

I would definitely recommend using this 1-2x a week as it is quite a strong product. I definitely did feel my skin feeling renewed.. however I think once tolerance is built, you can definitely use it daily! .

Super excited to have this product for a longer period of time to see the benefits on my skin especially since I see a difference already in a week!

This product is $44 and your can purchase it at a bluemercury store or at bluemercury.com

+_((Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick Swatches and Review))_+

+_((Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick Swatches and Review))_+

Hoola is definitely one of those cult favorite products that I always am reaching for... so much that I am fresh out of them!! (*CRIES*)

So when the new Hoola Quickie Contour Stick came out, I jumped at the chance to get it! I LOVE cream contour products (especially stick form), but my face hasn't approved of many. SO, I was super duper excited to try this out in hopes that it would be amazing!

First off - This only comes in one shade. Hopefully, this will change in the future but just wanted to get that out there for those you of that may not fit in this shade range. Second thing to note is that this is a bit warmer than the actual Hoola Bronzer. I wish I had it to do a side by side comparison (but again, I just finished mine!! That literally never happens lol!) They do recommend layering the hoola bronzer on top of the cream, so that might help if you aren't a person that likes warmer tones!

Now that those two things are out of the way - this is a super lightweight. Even though I used this on top of foundation and then set it with a contour powder, it didn't feel any heavier than my usual routine. It was also super duper easy to blend product! I was actually extremely impressed with how easily this blended out!!!!! It was very soft and silky... and when I blended it out it didn't disappear (like a lot of other products do when I "blend" it out lol). I did layer my bronzer on top of the contour stick, and it allowed my contour to last all day (I was legit cut!)

Below are swatches, one blended, one not!

Will you be picking this up? I purchased mine from ulta.com for $28.
